We’ve officially secured our location! We’ll be shooting inside a small, charming house, with most of the action taking place in the living room. One especially cool feature is an open pass-through that looks directly into the kitchen, giving us some great possibilities for staging and camera angles. The owners have been incredibly accommodating and have agreed to vacate the house for four full days, giving us one day for prep, two days of shooting, and a final day to strike and restore the space. We’re currently planning to shoot in November, so we have a little time to get everything organized and ready to go.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Casting “Nimby”, synopsis: On the night of his 40th birthday, Sam is surrounded by close friends and neighbors for what should be a lighthearted celebration. But the evening takes a dark turn when it’s revealed that the murky pond his neighbor David recently drained to build a tennis court may have been the fountain of youth. As tensions rise and secrets surface, the group discovers that a single vial of the water remains, and they’re willing to kill for it. What begins as suburban banter spirals into chaos, forcing Sam to confront just how far his neighbors will go to escape death.
